I stayed at KAI Beppu, a ryokan operated by Hoshino Resorts in Beppu. Stepping into  Kai Beppu feels like entering a serene and sophisticated traditional Japanese world. The warm smiles and attentive hospitality of the staff instantly ease any travel fatigue. The lobby opens up to a breathtaking panoramic ocean view allowing guests to fully embrace the tranquil atmosphere from the moment they arrive. The ocean-view room had a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, beautifully blending traditional Japanese elements with modern design.
